“If you know me, you know I don’t BS about my opinions on the quality of live music performances (full band or acoustic solo/duo/trio, etc) regardless of whether they’re personal friends or not. Generally speaking if I have a personal relationship with them, I try not to do anything but promote upcoming events. That said, I’ve gotta say that the Art and Shawna acoustic duo sounds great! Their song selection is great, not just pointed at one genre. Vocal pitch and melodies are on point. Personally I love when covers are done with the original melodies in tact and not colored with someone’s own “twist”. Visually they have a cool look, great crowd banter, and they care enough about what they’re doing to actually have made a stage banner that not only looks great but has all their pertinent information on it.
